Welcome to the website of the Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Board and thank-you for visiting. There is a huge amount of information within this website and I hope that you will find it useful whether you are a child or young person, a parent, carer, professional or someone concerned about the safeguarding of children.

All the organisations that make up the membership of Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Board are committed to work with the people of Gloucestershire and each other effectively to protect and keep our children safe. Whether children are at risk of or suffering harm or their welfare is compromised, this can only be resolved if we are all vigilant enough to recognise it and then take personal responsibility for doing something about it; safeguarding is everyone's business.
