Intelligence Reporting Form (IRF)

Intelligence Reporting Form (IRF) -Professional Guidance for Completion

What is an IRF?

The IRF is a way of professionals sharing intelligence with Police. This will help the police to disrupt crime or antisocial behaviour.

The IRF should not be used to report a safeguarding concern. Safeguarding concerns should be reported to the MASH using a MARF. If there are immediate safeguarding concerns, contact should also be made to the Police on 999 (emergencies) or 101 (non-emergencies).
