Working With Fathers
This course aims to support professionals in addressing some of the complexities in working with fathers.
By the end of the course participants will have;
Understood the barriers and challenges to working with men/fathers.
Explored what research and serious case reviews suggest 'works' when working with fathers and what 'Good' practice looks like in relation to working with men/fathers.
Considered the cultural perspectives of men in the child protection arena and an overview of why we tend to work primarily with mothers.
