Annual reports and business plans

Working Together to Safeguard Children 2015 states that an annual report on the effectiveness of child safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in the local area must be produced each year in relation to the preceding financial year.

Our Annual Report evaluates the effectiveness of safeguarding arrangements for children and young people in Gloucestershire and sets out how the Board's work will be developed and strengthened; it also provides an assessment of the performance, recognises achievements and progress made and identifies challenges for the future.

It sets out how GSCB organises itself and how it links with other important strategic groups. It looks at how effectively GSCB has dealt with identified priority areas, what funding it received and how that money was spent and, most importantly assesses how effectively it discharged its objectives.

The report also includes our Business Plan which identifies our priorities for the coming year.
